01 About Waveform Studio
Hi, I'm Nikos, the engineer behind Waveform Studio.
Based in Lancashire, I've been working in the music industry since 2007, with a background spanning both studio and live sound. After years of mixing live shows and touring across the UK and Europe, I shifted my focus towards helping artists create records in a more controlled and creative environment.
Today, Waveform Studio is a carefully crafted home studio built around thoughtful engineering, attention to detail, and music with character. Whether you're recording your first track or putting the finishing touches on a full release, my goal is simple: to help your music sound like the best version of itself.
Rock, metal and cinematic music are particularly close to my heart, but great music doesn't fit neatly into genres. Every artist, every project and every good idea is welcome.
I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Music Technology and Production from the University of East London and offer recording, mixing and mastering services both locally and remotely.

Nikos has impressive attention to detail and we realised when we worked together for a Manchester Festival set. When we announced a big UK tour, it made sense to ask Nikos to come with us on the road. Again his attention to detail and work ethic was second to none and, every night, we would go on stage with every confidence in our sound out front! Announcing a second big UK tour and it was a no brainer for the band to get Nikos on board again! Nikos delivers every time and never lets us down! A great guy who is always positive and fun to have around!
